Any particular brand? Where are you located? What are you wanting to spend? For an AK?

Maybe someone with actual on hand experience can tell me if it is true or not, but I overheard a FFL tell a potential customer of an AR-15 that everything that he had was used and they were expensive.  He went on to say that if he COULD get new ones that he could sell them for under $800 and still make a nice profit.

That would depend on the Manuf. and the model. I think there are a few out there sub $800 dealer cost , but not very many.

Been eyeing the zastava ak's..... would be my first so I'm a newbie to them but they seemed to get great reviews.
