The version I'm speaking of is the forum software. I dont access the forums via mobile device. In fact, my blackberry has a date with destiny. I intend to cut it in half with the .308.

Short answer - I dont see the time stamp.

Why u no like blackberry?

It keeps my boss's uncomfortably close, has a short battery life (no warning, just turns off, so I get to humiliate myself as I try to solve problems with...well..myself), and although its capable of being upgraded the provider/blackberry dont provide updates (they want you to buy another device). Lastly, blackberry creates privacy issues which I dont agree with.

I tried to keep blackberry out of my company, but the "executive quarterly" magazines that these guys read while on the toilet must have been packed with advertising.

The advertising, and a high fiber diet, were enough to override any logic I had tried to convey.

Anyhow, a new era has dawned, and the management have since discovered the ipad, and various other devices.

No offense intended - if you lika-da-blackberry... If it works for you, that's all you need.

I just upgraded tapatalk to 3.3.3. Its the best I can do until we upgrade the forum software, so hopefully that squares away the timestamp issue.

How did you get 3.3.3? It seems 2.4.13 is the latest version.

I have special double secret access to the code vault :)

That's the server piece (3.3.3). There's still a later version (3.3.4) which I cannot upgrade to until we update the forum software.

You guys are using the client piece (2.4.13).

The component I deal with is the interface that allows your mobile app to function, and both sides use different versioning.

Video of said death of Blackberry????????????

I've contemplated that...

In addition, I thought of having the device recording too, while waiting on its demise. For the first person perspective - just in case it managed to function enough to capture it (not likely).

1/2" at 100 yards is a fair shot, so I may keep something for posterity. To be clear though, the mission is to take out years of frustration on the forsaken device, and to force me to get a new one. The darn thing functions just well enough for me to continue my campaign of procrastination. I probably have about 45 min a month of talk time on any given month - so I can live without a cell phone for a few weeks, if need be.

I don't think so. See post #2...sounds like there might be a dependency on the server.
