NakPPI Posted March 6, 2013 at 12:34 AM Posted March 6, 2013 at 12:34 AM Drury = all yes. This is my shocked face... Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
StreuB1 Posted March 6, 2013 at 12:37 AM Posted March 6, 2013 at 12:37 AM I am not happy with mine. She voted yes on 4 of the amendments. Planned or not is the question and how do I address it with her?
BackForward Posted March 6, 2013 at 12:40 AM Posted March 6, 2013 at 12:40 AM I am not happy with mine. She voted yes on 4 of the amendments. Planned or not is the question and how do I address it with her? Send them a "love letter" stating your strong displeasure with her selling out to the machine, and not honoring the constitution.
StreuB1 Posted March 6, 2013 at 12:42 AM Posted March 6, 2013 at 12:42 AM She is pro-gun and pro-ccw and is a sponsor on 997. So this kinda throws me for a loop. It might be strategy; no idea.
blazzinbird Posted March 6, 2013 at 12:43 AM Posted March 6, 2013 at 12:43 AM Mine voted no on all except 6 the gun safe one
TacticalVideo Posted March 6, 2013 at 12:47 AM Posted March 6, 2013 at 12:47 AM Thanks for this information. Seeing this makes it very clear what happened today! Even better, it shows that many of the Democrats are on the side of justice and the constitution. Sort of revives my hopes for democracy.
cm.stites Posted March 6, 2013 at 12:54 AM Posted March 6, 2013 at 12:54 AM I am not happy with mine. She voted yes on 4 of the amendments. Planned or not is the question and how do I address it with her? strategy if acevedo and madigan "believe" they are closer to the 60 votes then they really are they will try harder to push it through to watch it go down in flames.
Elderberry Posted March 6, 2013 at 01:05 AM Posted March 6, 2013 at 01:05 AM I think it is important to look at both spreadsheets, this one and the one for 1155, and see how they voted on Representative Phelp's amendment. That is more telling than any of the rest of this.... I hate that they have to play this game. I would rather they just vote yes or no. While I understand the Present or NV situation, I have little respect for it. But, having said that, I realize they serve at the whim of the voters and they can't help us if they aren't in office....
tms119 Posted March 6, 2013 at 01:39 AM Posted March 6, 2013 at 01:39 AM I propose an amendment...: All legislators that vote for an amendment that finds itself being the center of a lawsuit due to its strong possibility of being Unconstitutional must be considered defendants in the case and must pay all court and lawyers fees out of their own pocket if they lose the case, thus freeing taxpayers from the burden of paying court fees for a bunch of imbeciles (can this be considered a scientific term for an amendment?).
GWBH Posted March 6, 2013 at 01:47 AM Posted March 6, 2013 at 01:47 AM Elderberry - that is just awesome!! Thank you!!
AlphaKoncepts aka CGS Posted March 6, 2013 at 02:05 AM Posted March 6, 2013 at 02:05 AM Elderberry is a liar. He said it would take him a few days and it only took a few hours. Thanks!

I sent the (similar) 1155 spreadsheet to abolt and Todd first thing the next sunrise. YOU got yours in the SAME evening!!

Good job at the paper work. IC needs to give you a nights dinner at your nearest TGI Fridays.
mailterry Posted March 6, 2013 at 02:44 AM Posted March 6, 2013 at 02:44 AM this whole process today looks like it produced a madigan report card. HE WILL KNOW WHERE HIS PARTY MEMBERS ARE
mailterry Posted March 6, 2013 at 02:46 AM Posted March 6, 2013 at 02:46 AM Excellent job Elderberry... I was wondering where my rep was on some of these issues
Mr. Fife Posted March 6, 2013 at 02:51 AM Posted March 6, 2013 at 02:51 AM Valuable information for us indeed. Thanks Elderberry!
Xwing Posted March 6, 2013 at 02:57 AM Posted March 6, 2013 at 02:57 AM So they plan to ban most common firearms and add other horrible rules, and got > 50 votes for all? What happend to the "supermajority" of pro-gun reps? What is the plan? To simply vote "yes" for the amendment and then "no" for the bill? It would be nice if someone who knows the full gameplan could explain it...
Capt_Destro Posted March 6, 2013 at 02:57 AM Posted March 6, 2013 at 02:57 AM Dan Burke's secretary said he supported us. But his votes on amendments didn't prove that point. He voted yes on restrictive amendments but voted no on Amendment 27 the other week..

OVERLAYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!! lol
jlowrie Posted March 6, 2013 at 03:11 AM Posted March 6, 2013 at 03:11 AM I let my rep (Ford) know in no uncertain terms how unhappy I am about his vote. Told him that because he voted yes on amendment three and seven was withdrawn that had this bill passed, I would become a felon in 300 days and would not be able to vote for him in the next election. His votes have consequences for real people and he needs to think about it before going with the Chicago machine. Not that I expect that he will listen or even be around for the next election.
StreuB1 Posted March 6, 2013 at 03:18 AM Posted March 6, 2013 at 03:18 AM I sent a very very similar email to mine.
