it was shoplifting. The doors were open for business. they were not told by anyone that they couldn't come in. They started grabbing things and running for the door but in the mean time, the shop owner locked the doors. then they unlocked the doors and walked out. No force was displayed, offered or threatened.
Seriously, you need some training concerning what a legal shoot is because you haven't a clue. If you used your response, you would be convicted and sent away.
as a concealed carry permit holder, if not threat is offered or delivered, you cannot fire. There is no threat on the video and the owner in his interview didn't report hearing/seeing any threat.

I did not say i would shoot these kids.
They did NOT have weapons pulled.
Believe me, i know what a legal shoot is,i was giving MY opinion what I think would help put a stop to crimes like the one posted,and also stating what MY thoughts were on the 25-life/Texas unknown that was made.The man said,should they loose a hand.I say yes,if any of them are repeat offenders.Some of these victims suffer for their entire life over these damn theives and harm should be done to help make it equal.
The very first post i read,says..."they knew they were "about" to be hit,so they locked the doors and called 911.
If MY home or Business has its doors "locked" AND "people" of "any" age,jimmylock the door and come-inside,with a weapon,to steal from me,i will defend myself,no matter what age.If they,do-NOT have a weapon,and they steal from me,i wish for PAIN to be inflicted on THEM in some way because i think that would put a stop to many of these kind of ROBBERIES.

That was not a "robbery" which is a forcible felony. Shoplifting is a misdemeanor and deadly force is not warranted.

You don't get it. They were open for business. There was a street festival going on right outside the door. When a dozen kids were already in the store, the owner locked the door to prevent more from coming in. No one broke in. They only broke "out" to escape.

Pick up a scanner in Chicago and listen for yourselves. It is common for 30-45 min response times. Just pick up a scanner and listen like I do.

I live in Lasalle County. LaSalle County is 75 miles north to south and 50 miles, east to west.
Normally on the afternoon or midnight shift, there are three to five 'road' deputies available for call.
They are all too often, up to 75 miles away from my home in northern LaSalle county. Our town cop works maybe 40 hours a week (although I never see him working at all)
Response time for the police for emergencies can be be up to an hour and for non emergency "a time to be determined in the future."
You can .listen to any police, fire, ems in illinois, including all of the Chicago Police districts and the citywide frequencies here:
Live Police, Fire, EMS radio
