Is anyone in the least bit surprised? The dems subscribe to the philosophy "Never let a crisis go to waste". They take this terrible tragedy and chortle with glee about the political hay they can make out of it.

Anyone in the Rockford area want to do a "group" buy on 30 round Pmags?

I just ordered a bunch. I got FG and FDE.

Dont worry, its dead on arrival in the house, although they will use this to say that republicans want Colorado style massacres to continue to happen.

I really hope republicans pick up 7 seats in the senate.

I sent some PM's regarding Pmags...I'll try to place an order tonight if people are interested.

Count me in as well if you are looking at ordering some in black. I could use a few more (let me know price and I could tell you a definite number). That way my wife can't say that it doesn't match when I take her out for her first time with the AR.

Now that I think about it, one that isn't black as well just so I can say "See, it doesn't make anything function any different."

I may be interested in some mags as well. I actually prefer the stainless steel body mags, but I may be convinced to get some Pmags. How do the Pmags work with .300 Blackout? I haven't tested them in that rifle yet.

I have no idea how they work with the .300 Blackout. To get a special price, I actually had to get the order submitted before 10pm, so I did place an order already. I do currently have a few that are not accounted for, so PM me if you would like a couple, and I'll get you the price.

I didn't really mean to take this thread off topic, so i apologize to the OP. If anyone wants Pmags (or something else), just PM me and I'll get you a price.

Again, I apologize for going off topic.

Banning hi cap magazines discriminates against disabled persons who cannot otherwise adequately protect themselves in a defensive situation.

What do these banners have against disabled people?

Please explain. I think I get your point, but in case I'm off, what is the bill, what was attached, etc?

The Bill is S 3414 :

  • SHORT TITLE(S) AS INTRODUCED:
    CSA2012
    Cybersecurity Act of 2012
  • OFFICIAL TITLE AS INTRODUCED:
A bill to enhance the security and resiliency of the cyber and communications infrastructure of the United States.

``( :cool: a transfer to a licensee under title I of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954 for purposes of establishing and maintaining an on-site physical protection system and security organization required by Federal law, or possession by an employee or contractor of such a licensee on-site for such purposes or off-site for purposes of licensee-authorized training or transportation of nuclear materials;

``© the possession, by an individual who is retired from service with a law enforcement agency and is not otherwise prohibited from receiving ammunition, of a large capacity ammunition feeding device transferred to the individual by the agency upon that retirement; or

``(D) a manufacture, transfer, or possession of a large capacity ammunition feeding device by a licensed manufacturer or licensed importer for the purposes of testing or experimentation authorized by the Attorney General.''.

© Penalties.--Section 924(a) of such title is amended by adding at the end the following:

``(8) Whoever knowingly violates section 922(v) shall be fined under this title, imprisoned not more than 10 years, or both.''.

(d) Identification Markings.--Section 923(i) of such title is amended by adding at the end the following: ``A large capacity ammunition feeding device manufactured after the date of the enactment of this sentence shall be identified by a serial number that clearly shows that the device was manufactured after such date of enactment, and such other identification as the Attorney General may by regulation prescribe.''.

I don't know why it inserted the smug smiley faces, but there ya' go.

Scheduled for a Monday discussion (July 30th, 2012 : http://democrats.senate.gov/2012/07/30/senate-floor-schedule-for-monday-july-30-2012/)

Sigh - It's futile to call, but I know I will....

Not in the Rockford area but I'd be interested if the price was right.

I'd be interested as well. I do not own an AR nor any magazines but I suspect I'll have one eventually.

If they're still legal.

Correct, for now. The dems will try to use this as political football, and paint Republicans as "pro massacre", etc... They don't expect to win now, but hope to give them an edge in Nov, and then pass it after Nov. This will be a big fight, IMO. And pro-gun groups need to gear up to stop them in their tracks!
