Ok I have been having this problem where I write posts in Word then copy and paste them intot he body of the message. But after the site change, I have been un able to copy and paste.

i write them in Word, then highlight and hit right click, copy, but when I flip over to IC and go to paste, it acts as if nothing is there to paste.

what gives?

ok here we go again. earlier this week I could not copy and paste text from Word. Now I can't evn copy URLs and things from webpages and paste them into a message. I shut down my computer, let it sit, rebooted it when I go to paste and right click, the past option is never available

Instead of using right-click/paste try using control-v.

Another thing you might try is to open up Notepad.

If you can cut & paste into Notepad you've isolated half the problem - you know it's not happening on your Clipboard.  Notepad, however, is just a basic text editior, its just going to accept basic formatting - so you can cut & paste text, but not pictures and things like that.

I have this happen every time I make a new post when I do the same thing.   They way I get around it is  make a generic post,  something like " see second post" then  quote yourself in the original post and paste a reply.   It will show up in the second post

Edit:   it only happens on the original post,  I think it is some sort of spam blocker on this site.  Keeps people from carpet bombing every section with the same post.
