This Combat Pistol Fundamentals class is for students who already have solid marksmanship and pistol handling skills and want to learn how to apply those skills in combat. The class will cover the following topics:
  • Fighting from the holster
  • Cover positions and their application
  • Combat reloads
  • Shooting on from cover
  • Malfunction clearances (type I, II & III)
Required Equipment:
Semi-Auto or Revolver, .38 to .45 ACP
Holster (no crossdraw or shoulder type harnesses)
3 or more magazines for Semi-Autos
3 or more Speed loaders/moon clips for Revolvers
Magazine Pouches (minimum 1 magazine on the body)
Gun Belt
Eye Protection (ANSI rated)
Hearing Protection
Weather Appropriate Clothing (we shoot rain or shine)
Cleaning Kit

Reccomended Gear:
Pen and Paper
Sunscreen
Baseball type hat
Plenty of Water and Snacks


Registration Requirements:
All registrants must have previously completed any URI Firearms for Self Defense Class, URI Private Coaching Class, TICTOC's Handgun One Class or any equivalent course with a reputable training company or agency.
