And if I click on the EDIT button - it wipes the post clean. I then have to click "Use full editor". or is that how it works?
"The rifle itself has no moral stature, since it has no will of its own. Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes,
but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda,
they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles." — Jeff Cooper, The Art of the Rifle

In the interim - the firefox browser offers a free spell checker (which I use)
Also, google toolbar has one too, for I.E. users.

IPboard (invision) removed this feature. 3.0.5 was an old release, and the feture was embedded because most web browsers did not include a spell checker.
Now days, most all web browsers offer a spell checker which highlights misspellings as you type. If you are an internet explorer user, and you wish to have spellcheck, I believe that's the exception. To get spell check on I.E. you must download the "google toolbar" from google.
Again, the logic Invision was operating on was that a spell checker in IPboard, was no longer needed, due spellcheckers being a common feature on all modern browsers.
