I picked up my Talo Boy Scout Ruger 10-22 earlier this week.  It is sweet.  I wanted it to commemorate my experiences in Scouting...pretty much the only good memories of my time with my father (RIP).

This is an iron-sight rifle with pretty cool laser engraving.

Nope!  I have a scoped stainless bull-barrel (the hammered one) version registered already.

What if you put an Arch Angel  kit on it?  Would the new  plastic then make it SCCCCAAAARRY?

If that causes the rifle to fit this definition, then it would be unregisterable:

(1)     A semiautomatic rifle that has the ability to accept a detachable magazine and has one or more of the following:
               (i)     a folding or telescoping stock
(ii)    a handgun grip which protrudes conspicuously beneath the action
               (iii)   a bayonet mount
(iv)    a flash suppressor or a barrel having a threaded muzzle
               (v)     a grenade launcher; or

It would have 4 of the 5.  only the flash supressor and bayonet are  non workin plastic  "tacticool" look alikes.   That is the most STUPID STUPID STUPID law I have ever seen.  Conspicuously? I supose a thumbhole stock would be conspicuous as well?

I read 'conspicuously' as 'wearing a hoodie'... :)
