It's "one and done" from either of the pictured revolvers. Also, I can save electrons by being absent from any feed problems or jamming threads. For carry. I think it's the one on the right. A few ounces heavier and not quite as accurate after 25 yards, but the 2.5 inch barrel makes it easier to sit down, and more easily concealable. I seem to be the only one here that prefers big bore revolvers for carry. They fit me. I'm comfortable and accurate shooting either one or two handed. I am sure knock down power isn't an issue. I don't get why more here aren't into these as well. * Carthago delenda est *

I hope to be able to ccw my govt size 1911 one day. On to of ignorant malcontents knowing that their next victim may be packing, they need to be worried about WHAT they're packing. Is this guy walking down the street packing? If so does he have a little mouse gun or will I be staring down the p***** off modern day dirty Harry? Do keep us informed of your choice and the holster you choose!

They both fit close, and the pancake design hides any printing. The 2.5" barrel Alaskan is even comfortable when I sit down, or for driving. I need suspenders, because they both weigh more than 3 LBS, but with that, and an over garment I'm good. I also have a Ruger LCR to carry ( also with Simply Rugged Pancake holster ) when I'm in Biz Casual. I just hate the feel of IWB holsters. Hate!
