The House is scheduled for 12:00 Noon today and the Senate for 1:00 PM.

Today begins a flurry of potential committe activity in both houses. Because of this I am going to conserve space by editing HB148 down to the essentials. Full details will be restored if/when it seems necessary.

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience. - C.S. If I understand correctly, many of the gun bills are scheduled to be brought up tomorrow. Is that accurate?

There a quite a few gun bills in committee today, and several more tomorrow. There is another thread calling for action on the bills scheduled for tomorrow because those are among the most extreme examples of anti-gun hysteria seen in a long time. We normally wouldn't see floor action on them the same day they are in committee.
