loudes13 Posted February 28, 2012 at 04:20 AM Posted February 28, 2012 at 04:20 AM You guys know what to do. NRA A rated Chris Lauzen is running against anti-gun Burns. Burns is also backed by the moderate GOP establishment. http://huntley.patch.com/articles/if-gop-primary-were-today-who-would-you-vote-for-burns-or-lauzen www.allenskillicorn.com
loudes13 Posted February 28, 2012 at 04:21 AM Author Posted February 28, 2012 at 04:21 AM Right now Lauzen is down 244 to 208 and needs your help! www.allenskillicorn.com
pyre400 Posted February 28, 2012 at 04:26 AM Posted February 28, 2012 at 04:26 AM Voted Yea, we can't let Chris lose, even if its a silly internet poll. Chris Lauzen has been a huge friend to the 2nd Amendment, and a champion of those in the 25th. He's moving on due to the redistricting, and I know he'll be missed by many - especially me.
papa Posted February 28, 2012 at 06:01 AM Posted February 28, 2012 at 06:01 AM 259 to 254 burns favor at this time.
Skorpius Posted February 28, 2012 at 06:37 AM Posted February 28, 2012 at 06:37 AM I just broke the tie! First time my vote might count for something in Illinois!
3ddiver Posted February 28, 2012 at 12:42 PM Posted February 28, 2012 at 12:42 PM Lauzen ahead now 51-48%
loudes13 Posted February 28, 2012 at 12:49 PM Author Posted February 28, 2012 at 12:49 PM Great job! If the GOP primary were today, who would you vote for? Kevin Burns 260 (48%) Chris Lauzen 279 (51%)
Xwing Posted February 28, 2012 at 04:03 PM Posted February 28, 2012 at 04:03 PM 52% Lauzen, 47% Burns right now. And I agree; Lauzen needs to win the primary! He's been a huge proponent in the past. I think it's unfortunate he's leaving the Ill. Senate though.
Steve O Posted February 28, 2012 at 09:53 PM Posted February 28, 2012 at 09:53 PM I voted, he is down again....
BobS Posted February 28, 2012 at 10:12 PM Posted February 28, 2012 at 10:12 PM Hmm, the lead sure changed in a hurry and by a large margin. Me thinks the deceased are voting once more…
loudes13 Posted February 29, 2012 at 12:38 AM Author Posted February 29, 2012 at 12:38 AM Hmm, the vote total went from 700 a few hours ago with Lauzen leading by 55 votes. Now it's 1150 and Burns is ahead. Looks like funny business. With the ethical problems recently aired about Burns, Brady, Notke, and crew, it doesn't surprise me if these guys would cheat... http://reformkane.com/reformnews.html
blueliner Posted February 29, 2012 at 02:30 AM Posted February 29, 2012 at 02:30 AM SInce we are talking about Chris Lauzen and good pro-2A Senators in the IL GA,for those of you in the new 33rd Senate District in Kane and McHenry Counties, if you want a TRUE pro-2A candidate to win, vote for Cliff Surges!
scough Posted February 29, 2012 at 03:53 PM Posted February 29, 2012 at 03:53 PM I guess my question is, why is the GOP anything supporting ANY candidate with a stance against the 2A?? I think this dovetails the extreme lack of GOP leadership in this pathetic state. The 2A is supposed to be one of the bedrock fundimental cornerstones of the party philosphy and ANY GOP support at any of these guys should be an outrage! The buck stops at Brady's feet.
Xwing Posted March 1, 2012 at 08:13 PM Posted March 1, 2012 at 08:13 PM Over 400 of my closest friends have voted for Lauzen. He's now up 1343 to 1326. In an unrelated note, the controls on that site to make sure one votes only once are a joke. It's based on solely cookies. Hopefully other people here are still voting for Lauzen!
Mr. Fife Posted March 1, 2012 at 08:42 PM Posted March 1, 2012 at 08:42 PM There is a letter to the editor on the home page of the patch in favor of burns
