I sent an email to her campaign asking her stance on the second amendment as well as HB 148. Below is the response I received. It does not answer my question about HB 148, but it did supply a link which claims she is in support of the 2nd amendment.

Here is the email

We apologize for the delay in response. We are doing our best to answer every question (which is quite a few) we receive as soon as we can.

While HB148 is a state issue and something a federal elected official wouldn't get involved in, you can find info on Debbie's previous record here:

So, I am wondering if anyone here actually knows her true stance as she will be running against Jackson Jr. and he really needs to go.

She really is a supporter of Right to Carry and when she was a state legislator she actually spoke at one of
our Chicago rallies.

She was rock solid as a state senator
While a 9 mm or .40 caliber bullet may or may not expand, it is an undeniable fact that a .45 caliber bullet will never shrink.

Jesse Jackson Jr, will die in office.  He simply will NEVER be voted out.  This is a sad fact.  Hew will only leave to f%$k up another position somewhere else.

Maybe I'm missing something but please read the last line in the OP's thread.

Debbie and Jackson have been enemies ever since the 3rd airport deal began if I remember correctly.

Sorry, I did miss that reference.  I wasn't reading closely enough.  My apologies.  I thought perhaps you were commenting on the JJJ video in another thread and got the comment in the wrong place.  I've been know to do that on numerous occassions.

Wish I lived in that distirict, I'd like to vote AGAINST JJJ.

Do you want to take my place? The new 2nd district gobbled me up and I feel like all real representation has been taken from me. In the soon to be former 11th district.  :headbang1:

You have my sympathy. I have been dealing with this district most of my life.
