Patriots & Tyrants Posted January 15, 2012 at 12:53 AM Posted January 15, 2012 at 12:53 AM Bargain Arms is basically a local FFL who along with a partner decided to start doing transfers and ordering from a few different distributors for private citizens such as myself. http://www.bargainarms.com/index.html They are based out of Prairie View (Right in the middle of where Buffalo Grove, Vernon Hills and Lincolnshire intersect) Dealing with Herman over there was nothing but a pleasure, he was responsive, polite and knew a lot about the product. Ontop of that, he works pretty late for a guy in his type of business so its convenient for people like me who work the normal 9-5 type day. The good news is the low overhead allows them to be competitive with places like Gunbroker, Gallery of Guns etc. The SIG I just got from them was priced pretty equally with what you find on Gun Broker and that INCLUDED tax. If they aren't competitive for some reason, the FFL transfer is only $ 25.00 5 out of 5 , if they keep this up they have a customer for life!

I let him locate the rifle through whatever source makes his life easy, and out-the-door pricing was very fair. We will give him repeat business and referrals, for sure. My wife shoots and came along on the delivery date. She appreciated he was a nice guy with an organized operation. This is great news because she would feel comfortable doing business there on her way to work.

I would recommend Bargain arms to anyone in the Northern Cook or Southern Lake county area.
