Thank you for your support of the Right to Carry.
There are several ways to get involved in the effort.

First, if you aren’t already, please join the Illinois State Rifle Association – www.isra.org -
they have 4 lobbyists working for our rights in Springfield and need our financial
support.

Please support our national groups who are also battling for our rights here in Illinois -
the National Rifle Association and the Second Amendment Foundation.

Please subscribe to our email alerts which we send out with details of
upcoming events and our need for volunteers.   During the fall veto session we will be
monitoring both the House and Senate and sending out alerts when phone calls, emails, and letters
are needing sent to legislators.

Please donate and help fund the many Right to Carry town hall meetings and other events we conduct all over the state.

You can become a Supporting Team Member by purchasing a "Paid Subscription" by clicking on the drop
down arrow up by your name in the top right hand corner of the screen.

And last but not least, you can support our efforts plus spread the word at the same time by
purchasing IllinoisCarry caps, t-shirts, bumper stickers, etc.

IlllinoisCarry is on the front line in the battle for our Second Amendment rights - please join us and
support our efforts!

The down arrow gets you to where you are supposed to select a subscription package, is there more than one, senior citizen, student, jr. membership anything less than a one year membership? Times are tough.

How about a special for those who have been on the forum for over 6 years and made over 3000 posts.  Two or more IGOLDS? :woohoo:

Remember the 1991 Luby Cafeteria Massacre of the Unarmed (Kileen, Texas before Texas Concealed Carry) Do we need 23 people to die in a similar incident before we're allowed effective self defense?

I've wondered what the stars represent by each person's user name. As I recall, some users have no stars, some have one, two, three, etc. There are also different titles? Are there different levels of supporting membership? Please clarify. Thanks.

One star equals 1000 posts, 2 equals 2000, 3 equals 3000 and 4 equals 4000 and that seems to be as many as you get.  It used to be shown by gold cartridges.  You are a Grand Poobah with 3 or more.  But if you are Molly you don't have big regular stars but you outrank Grand Poobahs.

Is Paypal the only method available to purchase a subscription?  Seems to be the only option I can get to come up.

We can flip some switches in the back and make them a supporting member.

Molly has noted that becoming a member of Illinois Carry, ISRA, and the NRA is the first step you should take in your responsibility to support the organizations that work so tirelessly in our behalf. Next, and most important in our Illinois fight for CCW, you must first contact all your legislators in the Illinois Senate and House to let them know you want them to vote yes on HB148 when it next comes up for a vote. Second, and most important, attend IGOLD this year on March 7th, 2012. This year is the most critical time in our battle for CCW, and our IGOLD event on March 7th needs to be the largest attended event in our history. Pro 2nd Amendment legislators have said this one single event sends a loud and strong message to Springfield that we are here with thousands of dedicated supporters, we are right, and we will not stop demanding our 2nd Amendment rights, and the passage of CCW in Illinois. For those of you who have attended, make a pledge to yourself to bring along 2 additional friends who have not attended before. You know we have our kick off in the Prarie Valley Convention Center with many of our organizational and legislative leaders rallying our attendees with their time at the podium. Todd V., Valinda R., Rich P., Jim V. various Representatives and Senators have all presented information to further motivate the 7,000 strong in attendence. This year we will have an additional very renown speaker at our event. Dr. Suzanna Hupp, a former Texas legislator and influential proponent of CCW accross our country will share the riviting story of her 1991 tragity in Luby's Restaurant in Killeen Tx. If you have never heard her recount that terrible day in her life you must attend and listen to her explain what heppened. This year's event impact could be the tipping point for those very few legislators that did not vote yes when HB148 came up last year on the floor. I want you all to get more involved in our efforts to pass CCW in Illinois. Join with us this year to make this the most attended IGOLD in history! Don't marginalize your contribution as "I'm only 1", you are one of many and your attendence is necessary. This year could be our year. I'm tired of being last. We can beat these tyrants if we show our strength. Show it on March 7th. I hope to see you there.
