The Roman Empire fell due to a large, corrupt government, overspending, an overextended military, insecure borders, and the illegal immigration of Goths, barbarians (anyone who was not educated), and religious fanatics. Sound familiar?

This MUST NOT be allowed to pass!!
"The rifle itself has no moral stature, since it has no will of its own. Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes,
but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda,
they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles."  — Jeff Cooper, The Art of the Rifle

The way I read it is that it would mean that every gun sale--even every private party gun sale--would be kept in Big Brother's records.

HB 48, of course, would do all that and more, but it applies only to handguns.

I found the following in the full text and wonder if it's just a typo or if they're just planning on creating a bunch of instant criminals.

On or after January 1, 2006, the record shall contain the date of application for transfer of the firearm.

This bill definitely needs to be defeated and the NIN's watched very closely   :frantics:
