This new sub-forum will be dedicated to conducting town hall type educational meetings throughout the state.

During this past general election we discovered town hall meetings to be very instrumental in educating the public about license to carry and how successful LTC has been throughout the rest of the country.  We would like to continue with that effort.

This forum will be used to explain what is needed to host a town hall meeting and to post dates and locations of those meetings.

What is needed to host a LTC town hall meeting?  Most importantly feet on the ground - someone who knows the community, the people, and can provide some of the following information:

1. Possible locations to hold the meeting - size, rental fee if there is one
2. List of community leaders who support LTC - judges, county board members, sheriff, current/retired police officers, etc.
3. Every community has its own unique schedule so what day of the week would be convenient in your community?
4. List of local media contact information.
