I am trying to get in touch with 20/20 and John Stossel he always runs the pro-gun stories. I am having a problem figuring out how to get the message to him. If anyone else has any other Ideas to get this out to the national media we need to make this national news, then it will expose Illinois' corupt politics and get CC for the whole state. Any ideas?

We do have some friends in the local radio market.   Th 2 moring radio programs on WLS 890 AM are 2A friendly and both have had our very own Molly B. on.   WlS is probably the biggest AM station in Chicago and covers the top half of the state with 50,000 watts.

I also found a contact to 20/20 and stated I would like John Stossel to look at it. He covers the gun stories great so I figured this would be right upp his alley.

I just contacted Fox News and left a message in their "Report a story" thingie box about Winnebago County and the Resolution with links to isra and this site.

Hopefully SOMEONE will take notice and, with all the corruption investigations in Chicago/Cook County, will decide to check it out.

Mabye if quite a few people bring up the subject to the same news orginazation it will make them consider it so if you send somthing post the link to the send form then it will be easier for other people to send somthing too . this is the link to ABC 20/20 Link to 20/20

Thanks for the link!  I left a "story" message.  Got a bit "longwinded" and went over the 500 word limit (or was it "character?). Anyway, I had to delete some of it and re-write to make it fit.

Does anyone have a copy of the resolution or a link to it. (I'm no good a "copy and paste")  ABC wants me to send a letter with copies of anything/everything I can get on this subject. (Bummer!)  I need something I can print out.  I've already printed out the "Petitions" form. need more stuff.  PLEASE HELP ME!.

When you guys get any news of the national shows doing a piece on this, let us know.

BTW, an AP rep. calls the news office everyday, checking for local stories for AP. If I can intercept his call, I'll tell him to check into your local newspaper... which is?....  

I do hope they are covering it!

I sent off a copy of the original proposal of the Winn Co CCW, and a print out of the original newspaper article about it, to 20/20 on ABC, along with a letter inviting them to look into it for a story idea.

I also listed this site as a starting ground for links to newscasts, articles, and how it's going along. Maybe they'll do a national piece on it, if it ties to Sen. Obama's stand on CCW and how CCW in ILL could be a sticking spot for him in the elections.

Well the word is spreading and so is my name. One of my dad's friends (Glen) was at Cabellas last week at the custom gun counter and overheard the guy behind the counter say somthing about Winnebago county. Glen then kind of listened a little to see what they were talking about when the guy behind the counter told the other guy "Yea if you have any questions  get ahold of Kenny Polhamus, he is really getting things done out there" Then I laughed at Glen & said yea right whatever. Then Glen said "Ask Clint (his son) he was standing right there & just looked at me in amazement when he said your name" I don't know if it someone on this board or if people are talking about it that much because they pronounced my name right (which is not easy by looking at it) in case you were wondering (Paul Hay Muss)

Ohhhhh I thought you were serious so I started filing all the paperwork and got a petition going to get on the ballot this November. So I did all that work for nothing?!!!!!!!
