Kenny Posted January 8, 2019 at 09:34 PM Share Posted January 8, 2019 at 09:34 PM Customer brought a set of Night Fision sights in to have installed. I have installed 1000's of sights as I was tapping the front sight in with a plastic hammer AND a plastic punch, the blade flew off across the room. (never to be found in my Lab/reloading/gunsmith/cleaning room) I contacted Night Fision and they wanted pics of the dovetail that I still had. I sent them pics and they said they would not cover it under warranty because there wasn't any damage to the dovetail from using a punch so I must have been hammering on the blade. It cost me $45 for a new front sight and when it comes in I am going to give it back to the customer and tell him good luck. I now have a policy at my gun shop we will not install Night Fision sights under any circumstance. I will not mess up a sight installing it just to make sure it gets covered under warranty. Reviews are relative but I had a terrible experience with this company and have taken action to never have to deal with them again.

Bitter Clinger Posted January 15, 2019 at 08:04 PM Share Posted January 15, 2019 at 08:04 PM The poor customer service practices of some companies these days is baffling. Haven't they heard of the Internet? One legit bad experience like this gets posted on a forum like this and they lose thousands of sales. All over a $45 part. HDUC10 Posted January 15, 2019 at 09:00 PM Share Posted January 15, 2019 at 09:00 PM Yep. If you experience good service you might tell someone you know .... if you experience bad service you'll tell everyone you know and beyond. And yes, the Internet makes it easy to spread the news!
