MagSlap Posted November 5, 2019 at 06:51 PM Share Posted November 5, 2019 at 06:51 PM I'm well aware of grip extenions and aftermarket baseplates. This is my G19, in my hands. G19sm.JPGNo offense, but if you ever ask me for just a handful of my M&Ms I'm going to have to politely decline. Hulk? lee n. field Posted November 5, 2019 at 10:00 PM Share Posted November 5, 2019 at 10:00 PM few more comparison pics.. http://www.tacomaguitarforum.com/tgf/hch.JPG James Nichols, AKA "XDMAN" is a gunsmith who does a lot with the XD/XDM/XDS. He was one of the "influencers" who got a free gun as part of the launch. In one of his review videos he said the internals were basically like an XDS, without the grip safety. That's what it looks like from this pic. The bottom one looks very much like my XDS.
unsigned Posted November 16, 2019 at 05:16 PM Share Posted November 16, 2019 at 05:16 PM And to think , KelTec had one out for several years . P11 1995 to present. I've had a P11 for years. I cannot stress how horrible of a gun it is. Its like comparing a Chevy/Ford/Chrysler to a go-kart.

I cannot stress how horrible of a gun it is. Its like comparing a Chevy/Ford/Chrysler to a go-kart. This may be true . The only point I was trying to make was the fact that the P365 and now also the hellcat are not a new concept like many were trying to say. Yes the P365 and the hellcat are a much improved design but they were not the first. I hope retiredguns is still enjoying his.

While I think the grip texture is perfectly fine, I did wrap mine with Talons as I like the feeling and have used them on almost every carry pistol I've owned. http://www.tacomaguitarforum.com/tgf/talons.jpg
