FFL giving buyers trouble due to Chicago address?

Question for the group - If someone had a Chicago address, and ordered an AR/AK/whatever to an FFL located outside of Cook County, how common is it for the FFL to give the buyer trouble due to the address? (If the firearm is not possessed inside the City or the County there is no violation)

Dont know about "common" but there certainly are those that have a policy not to sell certain firearms, e.g. those on the Cook AWB list, to those with a Cook address. Pretty much their business, their policy, but they should readily disclose that.

The thread is asking does the FFL have an issue with it, but all of the post are talking about the retailers cancelling the orders, so what are we talking about?

Anyway, Blackhawk tactical who is located in Cook will transfer anything. Its the individuals responsibility to be legal not the responsibility of an FFL to infringe upon your second amendment rights. Of course a retailer can enact any policy but FFLs are not always retailers.

With banned weapons like AK/AR the retailer is following the law, with handguns nothing is restricted but retailers are still refusing to ship. You can buy anything in person but were missing out on all the online deals.
