Application for FOID denied. Adjudicated Not Guilty

Recommended Posts

Hi I apply for my FOID card and it was denied and over a month or two ago I sent in my court records showing that the judge had adjudicated me as not guilty under Georgia's first offender program. I never lost my right to vote and now I'm being denied a Firearms card. I don't see anywhere where it talks about how long the ISP has to rule on the appeal which I think is crazy that I'm seeing some people waiting years for a decision. What if not having the right to bear arms causes me to lose my life. I want to be able to protect my home

I'm wondering if I should contact an attorney or what I could possibly do to make sure that my appeal is even being reviewed

I just received my FOID card after appealing the denial. Feeling Awesome right now!

Now go buy some guns...ammo...magazines...etc...

Whenever the state starts screwing us over..I 'buy more'.

Do I 'need' what I buy when the state gets stoopid? Nope..but when I buy something they 'wish' to say 'I can't have'...It puts a smile on my face.....
