Student took the class in 2014, has never applied for CCL. Now wants to apply. Should he submit the original certificate (this original version is obviously no longer in use) or should I complete the newer version of the certificate with the original training date on it? However, for applications, if the cert version has changed, the newest version needs to be the one submitted. IANAL. I could certainly be wrong. The instructor only need use the current cert with the ORIGINAL training date on it and it will be approved. There is no limit on the time for the original training.
