It was sweet out of the box, now it has a cajun gun works short reset disco, lighter springs and a good polishing job on the internals. Low recoil and smooth as heck. I've fired a few high end 1911s (sti,svi) and they were great, but I prefer the ergonomics of the canik which is just like a CZ. My old 92FS was smooth like butter, but a big big in the hand. I just started checking out some 1911s in 9mm thinking they might be pretty sweet but OMG the pricing on them. After it was tuned up, the slide racks like it's riding on ball bearings, and the trigger pull is just under 2 lbs. Great gun, but quite an investment of cash. Amazing shooter, awesome trigger, and the shortest reset on a striker fired trigger I've ever experienced. Hammer Fired = CZ Tactical Sport Orange in 9mm. 100% awesome across the board.
