Tactical Carbine Course- Sat Jul 30th-Sun Jul 31st 2016

This two day course covers the effective deployment and use of the magazine fed, military style semi-automatic rifle.
Shooting from cover, shooting on the move, Shooting in and around vehicles, tactical reloading, malfunction drills, injured shooter drills, multiple target engagement, close quarters battle drills, Night Shooting Tactical Vehicle Defense Challenge(NSTVDC-copyright, all rights reserved), alternate position shooting, long range accuracy, and MUCH MORE! This course will take you from whatever skill level you’re currently at and increase your shooting ability and tactical proficiency. It will include a high tech video analysis of your body mechanics and show you more efficient and effective use of the carbine.

This class will be held a great outdoor range Sand Burr Gun Ranch  2111 East 350 North in Rochester Indiana 46975 it's about a 2-2/12 hour drive from Chicago

Equipment needed for Rifle course: Equipment needed: A military style semi-automatic rifle with a sling at least three 30 round magazines or five 20 round magazines. Some type of magazine pouch or vest to hold the magazines.  800 rounds of non-armor piercing ammunition. DO NOT BRING STEEL CORE OR "GREEN TIP" OR M855 AMMO. Handgun with holster(optional as this is primarily a rifle class), 50 rds of handgun ammo. Eye and ear protection, a hat or cap with a brim. Pen and paper. A lawn chair or folding chair, water and a bag lunch. A rain coat (we will shoot rain or shine-be prepared to shoot in the rain!) There is only a porta potty on site so bring baby wipes, hand sanitizer or whatever you will need for comfort. Bring insect repellent and sunscreen.   If you have a tactical flashlight or weapons mounted light you should bring it. If your carbine has a red dot sight that's fine. I don't recommend magnified optics greater than 4 power.
