Just received this email:

*** ALERT ***
We at the ISRA take our responsibility very seriously when it comes to the health and well‑being of our members, staff and our community. As a result, we have made the decision to temporarily close all ranges and facilities of the ISRA Range until, April 8th, 2020.

Thank you for membership, understanding and cooperation.

Not totally sure I agree with this decision but it definitely makes me glad I got there yesterday afternoon with a fellow member to make some noise. We had the entire place to ourselves and the snow falling definitely made it a fun range session.

I received the email this morning, and I was surprised. In last Thursday's weekly email Richard Pearson mentioned getting out in the fresh air, and gave no indication of this happening.

I guess they figured it was better to err on the side of caution.

Our benchrest league begins April 22 on that same range in the picture, unless the virus messes that up too.

Aurora Sportsmans Club will remain open but to members only, no guests.
all scheduled activities and classes were canceled.
