So, I have an acquaintance who owns a decently preserved Arisaka rifle that needs some work done on it to get it into top shape. Can anyone give me some recommendations for a gunsmith, ideally in the northern Illinois area, to do the necessary repairs and restoration work?
Alternately, a recommendation for anyone within driving distance of Chicago (say, 100-odd miles) or who will take shipment of the rifle for repairs would be a viable option as well.
Any information or leads would be much appreciated!
