CHICAGO HANDGUN OWNER Posted January 21, 2020 at 03:32 PM Share Posted January 21, 2020 at 03:32 PM Are there any law suits filed to end Red Flag laws in Illinois? This is the worst violation of due process anywhere in America! You are guilty until you prove yourself innocent and meanwhile you are unarmed and vulnerable while you fight the case. Anyone can report another person as dangerous and just the allegation is enough to strip you of your gun rights! Imagine if just allegations alone could cause people to be arrested for other crime allegations without any proof. It happens like this in 3rd world countries! A woman red flagged a cop who shot her son. She chose to interpret people "who have a child in common" to mean something other than the intent of the law (which would be a child with blood relations). The cop had shot her criminal son, so by that she felt they had a "child in common" and the judge still approved the order. Last I heard there's no repercussions coming her way for this. Even Illinois isn't that bad.

CHICAGO HANDGUN OWNER Posted January 22, 2020 at 12:56 AM Author Share Posted January 22, 2020 at 12:56 AM Ok I really hope there is some legal action. This is a civil rights violation. Confiscating someone's property without due process. It's something right out of the former Soviet Union.
