I spent a few minutes playing around with ideas for putting some of this information into a spreadsheet. Here's a highly work-in-progress mockup with a few partial entries. I'd be interested in some feedback on whether this is worth continuing and, if so, any suggestions for improvements.

That looks like it would be helpful. Maybe it could even be pinned when it's completed, or posted on Google docs as a public document?

Hillary Clinton is an "Original Classification Authority" - she knows exactly what she did with her emails.

(4) the original classification authority determines that the unauthorized disclosure of the information reasonably could be expected to result in damage to the national security, which includes defense against transnational terrorism, and the original classification authority is able to identify or describe the damage.

Sec. 1.2. Classification Levels.

(a) Information may be classified at one of the following three levels:

(1) “Top Secret” shall be applied to information, the unauthorized disclosure of which reasonably could be expected to cause exceptionally grave damage to the national security that the original classification authority is able to identify or describe.

(2) “Secret” shall be applied to information, the unauthorized disclosure of which reasonably could be expected to cause serious damage to the national security that the original classification authority is able to identify or describe.

(3) “Confidential” shall be applied to information, the unauthorized disclosure of which reasonably could be expected to cause damage to the national security that the original classification authority is able to identify or describe.

(tt) “Violation” means:

(1) any knowing, willful, or negligent action that could reasonably be expected to result in an unauthorized disclosure of classified information;

I have had an INCREDIBLY GREAT experience with Todd Roseberry in Bloomington.  Honest, straight-shooter and saved me a LOT of legal fees by expeditiously handling my case.  I couldn't recommend him enough.  And, by the way, he is an Illinois License to Carry Instructor as well.

When I was getting my concealed carry permit, I asked my attorney who he would recommend for a good firearms attorney. He said that Jerry Lund is very good in the area of law where firearms would apply. I trust my attorney and I trust his advice. Jerry Lund's info is as follows:

Jerry Lund

Vella and Lund

401 W State St #300, Rockford, IL

61101

815-965-7979

http://www.vellalundlaw.com/

From the Vella and Lund  website:

Jerry A. Lund is a partner with Vella & Lund and has been with the firm since 1988. Since joining the firm he has successfully represented numerous individuals charged in both State and Federal Courts.

Attorney Lund has handled criminal investigations and prosecutions involving drug conspiracy, murder, HUD fraud, defense contractor fraud, bank fraud, reckless homicide, and Driving Under the Influence. He has represented a wide array of individuals, including law enforcement officers, corporate executives, public officials, business owners, professional athletes, and lawyers.

Attorney Lund has represented individuals in state courts throughout Illinois. He is also a member of the Federal Trial Bar and has handled federal cases in every district in Illinois, and in Federal District Courts in Washington, Texas, Missouri and Wisconsin. He has obtained not guilty verdicts on a wide array of cases, including First Degree Murder. He has extensive experience in narcotics cases, and has obtained not guilty verdicts and suppression orders in numerous drug cases.

Prior to joining the firm, Attorney Lund was a Winnebago County Assistant State's Attorney. He received his B.S. from the University of Illinois Urbana Champion and his J.D. from Northern Illinois University School of Law, cum laude.

So far I think he is the only person known here that covers Winnebago Co. I emailed him to verify if he does work with conceal carry license holders on self defense issues as well as other issues we may face. Hopefully he does and then I'll carry his card with me. It never hurts to have a number to call just in case.

I'm good with taking his name off.  Haven't heard anything about him or from him since the initial posting.

On post #79, I mentioned David Lawler in Marion. I thought I should mention that he represented my son in a case involving his wife, at the time. The charge was domestic abuse, he pulled a cell phone out of her hand and it was bruised. He got the charges reduced and my son was able to keep his job as a corrections officer at Menard Prison.

If you are looking for administrative review appeal, Carl Draper is very good.  If you're looking for a defense attorney, check out the list on the first page of this topic.

Thanks Molly.  I am looking for a nearby defense attorney to have in mind if ever needed.  From the list, the only one shown for Springfield is Peter Baroni in Chicago-Wheaton-Springfield-Wilmette.  Apparently their offices are in the Chicago area.  Unless they have a local office Springfield, they may not be very convenient for a Springfield case.   Just trying to be prepared but praying never needed.
