I understand some benefits to both like I don need to worry about losing a key for a combo lock. And so on. So what do you guys have and why did you pick that certain locking mechanism? That said, I use a small key operated cable tethered box. The key is on a lanyard and stays in the box when empty and around my neck when in use. Not intended for quick access but storage only. The safe has a push button combination, so no key is required, as well as no batteries to die.
