Jorge0272 Posted October 31, 2018 at 06:23 PM Share Posted October 31, 2018 at 06:23 PM I use UBG Holsters The Stryker. Tried the Versa Max II and it rode to high for me. UBG has been great. Very comfortable and half the price of the Milt Sparks.
Ranger Posted November 7, 2018 at 03:46 AM Share Posted November 7, 2018 at 03:46 AM Body type makes difference. That said, my favorite holster is a milt sparks criterion.

soundguy Posted November 8, 2018 at 07:52 PM Share Posted November 8, 2018 at 07:52 PM I just concealed my new Vedder Light Tuck for a Hi Power. This is my first all Kydex holster as well as my first single clip holster. So far (30 minutes around the house and seated here) it's pretty comfy, more so for me (overweight) than the hybrid Kydex-leather two clip holsters with I have been using. I think there may be too much retention when my belt is tightened... I'll probably see if they have a longer spacer for the retention screw (or make one). Super fast delivery for a custom fabrication... I ordered it for an HP with a short slide. I can only imagine that my HP Detective will be even more comfortable. As for leather... my only cool leather holster is the Triskel from Garrity's Gunleather. It's gorgeous! Off to the range now...
rebel49 Posted November 10, 2018 at 06:21 AM Share Posted November 10, 2018 at 06:21 AM Stoner Holsters, I think it's the model 515, order with steel reinforced top. I've had mine for 4 years and couldn't be happier. And they carry a 99 year warrenty on everything.
Ranger Posted November 29, 2018 at 01:09 AM Share Posted November 29, 2018 at 01:09 AM I have a bunch of holsters from many of the top makers. If doesn't need to be tucked, I really like the milt sparks criterion. I have one for my S&W 1911sc. https://www.miltsparks.com/products-criterion.php If needs tucked, I'd go for the Nelson Dakota defender. I have an early version and it is more comfortable and much more concealable for me and my Glock 26 than my milt sparks vm2. http://nelsonholsters.com/nelson_holsters_web_site_updated_002.htm
mrmagloo Posted November 29, 2018 at 07:16 PM Share Posted November 29, 2018 at 07:16 PM Like my MS VM2 with the Horsehide and Shark trim. Took along time to get it, and was pricey, but well worth the wait.
soundguy Posted November 29, 2018 at 08:00 PM Share Posted November 29, 2018 at 08:00 PM After 3 weeks of daily use, I'm quite happy with the Vedder Light Tuck for a HiPower Detective.I imagine it's about the same size as a Combat Commander.Pretty comfy with a full size/weight HiPower. $55.One belt clip.Big choice of Kydex colors.Superb service, fast shipping.
