Bloomberg's boy lost in court.

Yep, and I had his first contact w/Peduto

The stay on the gun laws came with agreement from both sides Monday. The ordinances had been scheduled to take effect June 8.

"They have agreed to a stay of the implementation and enforcement of the ordinances and Judge (Joseph) James has issued an order staying it, consistent with that agreement," said Joshua Prince, an attorney for Firearms Owners Against Crime.

Gun law opponents questioned the gun control advocates law firm, Everytown Law, joining the city's legal team, claiming it could cost taxpayers. The group says it won't.

"We are here representing the city. We do that at no charge. It's already been discussed as a matter of public record," said Eric Tirschwell, of Everytown Law.

Now Peduto is trying to get the judge who ruled against them unseated

I was just informed that Pittsburgh Mayor Bill Peduto and Allegheny County Chief Executive Rich Fitzgerald are conspiring to unseat Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas Judge Joseph M. James because of his decision this week ruling – consistent with Article 1, Section 21 of the Pennsylvania Constitution and the binding precedent – that the City of Pittsburgh’s firearm ordinances were unlawful.

Apparently, Mayor Peduto and Chief Executive Fitzgerald will be filing a frivolous ethics complaint and taking other action against Judge James, in a disgusting attempt to unseat him, for upholding the Pennsylvania Constitution and binding precedent, even after Mayor Peduto, on December 14, 2018, acknowledged publicly that the City of Pittsburgh lacked the legal authority to enact Ordinances 2018-1218, 2018-1219, and 2018-1220. Likewise, on January 7, 2019, City Councilwoman Strassburger declared

So, can someone file an ethics complaint against that idiot mayor and his clownish Chief Executive lackey? That seems to be an abuse of power by an municipal executive branch attempting to unduly influence the judicial branch.
