I need a gas block pressed off so I can slide a handguard retainer on the barrel. The gas block/sight would have to be pressed on. Just thought I'd ask before I check out harbor freight or have at it with a dead blow hammer/brass rod. I still need to order the retainer but I'm just trying to be pre-preemptive. True, the category threw me off. Even if somebody doesn't build AKs, being able to use a press for cash and a case of whatever beer they choose might be good too. The gas block came right off. soaking it in oil night before helped. I guess I'll keep the press for future projects.
