mab22 Posted May 18, 2019 at 02:05 AM Share Posted May 18, 2019 at 02:05 AM Has any group challenged the legality of this? Just looking at the site it is for Federaly licensed, which won’t reload now...I must have broke it .... sorry , how can they require someone who is federally licensed to register with them? Isn’t the state kind of subordinate to the feds? Does that violate the commerce clause for interstate transfers of a federally protected right? If they want a license to do business, they have to do whatever the requirements are to get and keep a license.
InterestedBystander Posted May 18, 2019 at 02:46 AM Author Share Posted May 18, 2019 at 02:46 AM Has any group challenged the legality of this?A couple of groups claimed they would file suits IIRC, but I'm not aware of any who have. I could see waiting until ISP and JCAR rules/requirements/processes are more complete. Still a lot of unknowns.
