Florida bill to restrict rifle sales, arm some teachers

From al.com, there was one bill with two provisions.

... raising the minimum age to buy rifles from 18 to 21 and to create a waiting period on sales of the weapons.

... limit which teachers could volunteer to go through law enforcement training and carry guns in schools. Any teacher who does nothing but work in a classroom would not be eligible for the program, but teachers who perform other duties, such as serving as a coach, and other school employees could still participate. Other exceptions would be made for teachers who are current or former law enforcement officers, members of the military or who teach in a Junior Reserve Officer's Training Corps program.

We gain 500,000 new NRA members.

Gun owners are fired up in an election year.

Legislators arm teachers to make students and schools safer, and to prevent future tragedies.

The gun control movement is exposed for the tyrants they are, and in an election year.

The gun control movement gets an age increase.

So they take one step forward, and ten steps back.

But they claim they’re “winning”. Right.

Waiting periods have worked so well here in Chicago when you look at what has happened.

Year to Date

Shot & Killed: 71

Shot & Wounded: 307

Total Shot: 378

Total Homicides: 86

God knows what the count would be if we didn't have waiting periods.

All true.

But, every step back we take, is a step closer to complete ban.

Maybe they should introduce a bill where The Police don't run away from a active shooter situation or stand there and do nothing.

That could be a good bill, make it a crime to get paid to be a deputized coward.

Oh wait that makes too much sense, how do I delete?

Exactly, rather then review the failures and the people behind them. Lets just make MORE laws and restrictions because, you know that solves all the issues right?
