I came across the website for Shootrite Firearms Academy in Langston, Alabama , Shootrite.org I was wondering if anyone here has taken a defensive handgun course from there? If so what you thought about it?

Used to be run by Tiger Mckee. One of Clint Smiths instructors at Thunder Ranch.
He wrote a pretty good book on rifle and pistol.
