TRJ Posted September 8, 2020 at 03:24 PM Share Posted September 8, 2020 at 03:24 PM Today I learned that there's still people in the south (they're pretty old people) who vote Democrat simply because Lincoln beat the confederate states? They don't know a thing about the evolution of their chosen party.
Bubbacs Posted September 8, 2020 at 04:52 PM Share Posted September 8, 2020 at 04:52 PM September 1862 to January 1863 September 1963 to January 1963 Hundred years yes? Close? mrmagloo Posted September 8, 2020 at 05:35 PM Share Posted September 8, 2020 at 05:35 PM Umm, pretty normal here in Chicago to Vote well past your last breath - But strange that such a talent is only bestowed on Democrats for some strange reason. quackersmacker Posted September 8, 2020 at 05:54 PM Share Posted September 8, 2020 at 05:54 PM Last week I received a Crook County "Mail Ballot Information" form which had been sent to our old address in Streamwood IL, and forwarded by the person who now lives there. We've been Tennessee residents for two (happy!) years. One of the choices on this form reads: "I am requesting a Mail Ballot for the November 2020 Presidential Election. I DO NOT want the ballot to be mailed to my home address. I want the ballot mailed to the address filled in to the right." (emphasis exactly as it shows, and the form allows you to fill in an address in any state in the U.S.) No possibility for any monkey business with this system, naaaaahhh! Someone stationed in the military would fall into that category of not wanting the ballot sent to the home address. Someone could be on extended vacation and not be home until after the election. Think I will vote in person.

You might get a surprise when you go to vote in person...... Wonder how many others will.......
