Our politicians see the NICS numbers. Every time we feel threatened with bans we buy more and more guns. They know these people are single issue voters.

We need to remind them our numbers are growing.

They have a small minority that speaks the loudest (aided by billionaires, antigun media outlets and liberal indoctrinated schools). But as a group we have more money and more voice. A capatilist society falls apart as soon as cases of property confiscation go from a small number to the norm.

Boycott businesses that are silencing your voice (including getting off certain social media platforms). Buy from businesses that do support 2nd ammendment rights. Put your kids in private or charter schools if your school district stands against the 2nd ammendment or at the minumum equal rights to protest.

Buy new guns, buy from your favorite FFL. Do whatever you can to BUY MORE Guns!

Honestly, I wasn't all that into black rifles up until Clinton almost got elected and I thought for sure they were going to get banned.

Before that I had strong opinions that my wooden stocked M1A/civilian M14 was the best and nicest looking battle rifle ever made. And intermediate cartridges are for lady boys.

But if bans were coming I bought a Galil. Loved it, ammo was cheap so I could blast through lots of magazines, then I understood intermediate cartridges.

Then I'm like, I talk ish about the AR all the time, but I can't be objective unless I own one. So I went all in and built a build that got totally out of hand. But it made me get it. AR's are about individualism because you can build them in so many ways. They're Legos for big kids.

So I had an AR platform, a garand platform, an AK platform and I really started to appreciate the different styles of engineering, the engineering stories, trials etc. It's not on the outside that makes them beautiful, it's what's inside. And at the point I decided I MUST COLLECT THEM ALL!

So a few days ago I put money down on an upper for a custom built hipster battle rifle FAL project.

After a tilt lock next on my list is the roller delayed blowback bolt of the HK's, and whats more iconic then an MP5 or clone for that platform. And since they're cheap might as well grab an SKS (and leave it stock cuz that's another rabbit hole). Then I'm thinking I need to diversify my handguns, I have a few, but no revolvers. Oh, and I need to build the AR Stoner intended with a retro Ar10. And and and...

I pretty much have my discretionary income tied up for days. But, the good thing about guns is they only seem to appreciate in value.

Unfortunately my parents are antigun so no inheritance and I've always lived in gun ban areas up until the laws changed a few years ago so I need to catch up to the rest of you.

You DO get it!

I built my first AR back in the early 80s just by looking at it and feeling my way through the build. If I needed specialized tools I built them. Marveled at the design. So elegantly simple. Hardly any accessories back then. Today's many offerings combined with the internet allow a builder to indulge to his heart's content. It seems no matter how much you think you know about this rifle, there's always something new.

I still have that first rifle. It's been the test bed for so many accessories and paint schemes that it looks nothing like the original. But it's still my favorite.

I dropped $3k on Guns on Sat in honor of the Socialist Gun Grab March and recruited 6 Members to the NRA on Sat.

All in the Occupied State of Illinois.

For the Record. I am a Active Union Member who just joined the Republican Party on Friday.

I will no longer put Pay over Country.

Ha, I'm under no delusions they know what I have, but good luck trying to get them.

Most of the people that manage, run, and secure the back end of the internet, including NSA contractors, are gun owners. If it came down to gun confiscation the NSA would cease to exist.

Defcon (largest hacking convention) now has a range day put on by the attendees with enough of their own NFA hardware to make other NFA shoots jealous.

Right on!
Nice, keep getting more people shooting! Im always amazed at how many Chicagoans still think the blanket gun ban exists so they've never bothered to look into shooting or ownership.
