echo314 Posted March 31, 2014 at 07:31 AM Share Posted March 31, 2014 at 07:31 AM Quick question. Can the ISP deny a CCL after the 30 day law enforcement objection period? As it says on the CCL check status page:...Law enforcement personnel throughout the state of Illinois have a 30-day period to object to submitted applications... Once the period for review has elapsed, ISP will prepare, print and send the Conceal Carry License to the license holder’s current address. The way I read this. After the 30 days, you will be approved, it is just a matter of time before you go active.
GT1 Posted March 31, 2014 at 07:38 AM Share Posted March 31, 2014 at 07:38 AM I understand after the 30 days the objection button goes away, so once it is gone there can be no local(to you)leo objection. The ISP can reject/deny at any time.

mbrich Posted March 31, 2014 at 09:38 PM Share Posted March 31, 2014 at 09:38 PM Ed, it looks to me like you submitted, they allowed the full 30 day review window, then kicked it up to the Board after 30 day window closed, and board made a decision within their allotted 30 days (unless they request an extension). This in and of itself seems to be the proper method. However, good luck figuring out why it was denied. They have been notoriously vague in that department. Best of luck.
