Bird76Mojo Posted November 7, 2018 at 03:41 AM Share Posted November 7, 2018 at 03:41 AM With the lead that Pritzker had, no need to count anything. +500,000 votes at least. Quite the party over in the Pritzker camp right now. JB just led everyone in a toast, and they all did shots of hot, fresh gravy.

IH8IL Posted November 7, 2018 at 04:13 AM Share Posted November 7, 2018 at 04:13 AM It's time for gun owners to come together, to put our differences aside and concentrate on where we agree. DD123 Posted November 7, 2018 at 04:49 AM Share Posted November 7, 2018 at 04:49 AM What probably surprises me the most about republicans in Illinois, is that they don't seem to understand who exactly the people that have been fleeing over the last several years are. The people fleeing don't vote democrat. It's hard to win in Illinois when the only people left to vote are democrats. The phrase "fight the good fight" no longer applies here. This state is officially a lost cause. Our only hope at this point are the courts to fight whatever anti bills come down the pike. We can also continue to be loud and non stop pointing out the fact that JB literally defrauded the county on his property taxes. That's an offense that would put any one of us behind bars. Our goal should be to continue to push that until we see him behind bars. in the meantime, I'm accelerating my plans to get out. Illinois is done. Republicans are fleeing, and none are migrating in to replace them. Anyone claiming otherwise sounds like a lunatic in an asylum.

crufflesmuth Posted November 7, 2018 at 01:19 PM Share Posted November 7, 2018 at 01:19 PM I'm sure we're feeling very defeated even though we knew it was coming. The defeat, bad as it is, doesn't change who we are. We are the guys who dig in. We've had a trench dug for the last 20 years, and while it's been nice to let the sun shine on our faces and breathe a little for the past few years the trench is still there. We've not forgotten how to hold the line. We've got a list of email addresses and phone numbers, and we know exactly how to use them to stop bad bills in the house and senate. And when we fail, it toughens us more as we resign ourselves again to hold the line. Take the next week to rest a bit and shake off the negative vibe. Be sure to take inventory and resupply as necessary keeping in mind it might be the last chance in a long time for some things to ship to Illinois. Then collect your friends and family and prepare for a storm. We'll need to burn up the phones and flood inboxes. We'll need to fill assembly halls, march in the streets, and schedule face time with our representatives. This has never been more important than it is now. I surely hope to see each of you and your families in the trenches next week. We are the guys who dig in. We are the guys who hold the line. In my view, we're set back to 2013 after FCCA. The Federal Bureau of Prisons will have to accommodate the added waistline. They're gonna need a LOT more orange fabric when the time comes. Better get the stretch type fabric just in case. EdDinIL Posted November 7, 2018 at 03:50 PM Share Posted November 7, 2018 at 03:50 PM Will it be on the first day in office or the second day that a bill is passed requiring the registration of all firearms in Illinois? I think they will enjoy the built-in stops in the legislative process, using the time between bill readings to get their message out and ramp up the volume of their rhetoric.
