Southwestern Illinois Firearms Training will be holding a Concealed Carry License Class on September 16th-17th. Day two of the class is again being offered as a refresher for anyone needing to renew their CCL. We don't usually have refresher classes because people tend to ask for these sporadically and on a rush basis. I can't justify renting facilities for a person or two every few weeks. Two weeks after this class, we're planning to have a Basic Pistol Course. I'll send an email late next week with specifics. This class is a live-fire training class to work out your defensive pistol and holster, fix shooting errors, and help you become much more confident with your defensive pistol. Regardless of if you have or have not taken a concealed carry course, this is the class that will primarily work on improving your pistol shooting skills so you can get that gun out quickly and put effective hits on target. The Basic AR-15 Course is coming in the near future. I know... I know... I've put it off twice now because of scheduling issues but we're going to do it this time.
