Naperville executive orders

There are many things I'm grateful for living in Naperville and am glad that I was able to raise my kids here and not where I grew up. This is one of those "little" things that make you smile:

Executive Order Issued to Suspend Liquor License Renewal Process

On Wednesday, March 18, Naperville Mayor Steve Chirico signed an executive order extending all currently issued liquor licenses that were due to expire on April 30, 2020. This was the first executive order signed under the City’s local state of emergency declaration issued on March 17 in response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

THAT'S how you issue your 1st Executive Order! Proud to be an American! I'm not even a big drinker, but as soon as I'm off duty, I'm heading to the nearest liquor store before Eric Cartman (Prikster) shuts the state down.
