Has anyone designed/developed a student database?  Like either MS Access or MS Excel program to keep track of students.  Thanks

Please be mindful of what you put in that student database and the measures you take to secure it.

Remember this? Also, if you upload it to any online file service and don't set the proper permissions it could very easily end up indexed in Google's search results.

Just play with the Excel, naming and adjusting columns and rows.

Roster number, last name, first name, middle name, address, phone, FOID number, class date, what ever you want to record or keep track of. You can even record how you advertised the class or who the referral for class was from.

Keep it on the cheap 'puter you keep your checking account and personal files on. The most secure computer is one that will NEVER be internet connected.

We have an excel one. Just a basic excel program with what we want on it and keep track of. Easy to put together, really.

There are a number of free excel templates out there for teacher/student purposes. You could always grab one of those and modify, just depends on how complicated you want to get
