Euler Posted January 17, 2021 at 11:44 PM Share Posted January 17, 2021 at 11:44 PM ... Dave Dell'Aquila, a former tech company boss who has donated more than $100,000 to the NRA, told the Guardian on Saturday he was preparing to lodge a complaint in US bankruptcy court in Dallas, Texas. If successful, it could stop top NRA executives discharging a substantial portion of the organisation's debts. It could also stop Wayne LaPierre, the NRA's controversial longtime chief executive, avoiding ongoing lawsuits that allege he defrauded the pro-gun group's members to pay for luxury travel to the Bahamas and Europe and high-end Zegna suits. LaPierre has denied the allegations of financial impropriety, insisting in a letter to NRA members that the group is "well-governed, financially solvent and committed to good governance". ... Windermere Posted January 18, 2021 at 03:07 AM Share Posted January 18, 2021 at 03:07 AM I stopped donating to NRA about 2 years ago. If we have a right to something, why do I need to donate hard earned money to protect it. It’s not like these organizations have helped the 2A significantly. Our gun rights get chipped away non-stop... even during administrations that claim they support gun rights.

Quiet Observer Posted January 28, 2021 at 03:40 PM Share Posted January 28, 2021 at 03:40 PM Doubt the NRA will move their headquarters. Only changing state of corporation. Could be. A business can be incorporated in one state and have its headquarters in another. "More than half a million businesses, including half of all American publicly traded companies, nearly two-thirds of Fortune 500 companies, and most technology startups have incorporated in Delaware.Companies often consider whether to incorporate in Delaware or Nevada, but highlighted below, you will find various reasons why the U.S. Chamber Institute for Legal Reform has called Delaware the best legal climate for corporations in America for 10 years straight and why incorporating in Delaware may or may not be the right move for you."Why Incorporate in Delaware: 16 Advantages and 6 Disadvantages (upcounsel.com)

Do you think that the process might drive out all the LWW's that are settling in there? BEFORE they do significant damage? We can only hope. Rumor has it though, That Elon Musk is secretly supporting it. He is aware of the bill and yet is still moving Tesla to Texas. Even the NRA hasn’t changed their plans. So either they don’t believe it will happen, or they don’t care, or they support it.

Perhaps they can get big money for their towers keeping a small office close to DC. I have no clue.
