The FOID website does not offer an option to correct such errors, but does provide a phone number. I have called it several times, only to be disconnected due to "heavy call volume". I have always get a response in around 2-3 days while the phone is crap shoot. If you really want to talk to them then call them like as soon as they open and get in the queue. If any FFL or F2F asks about it, you could just say the card was from before your surgery, but you're "all" man now. Either way, you'd have to pay for the replacement cards. When I moved several years ago, Driver Services screwed up my auto registration with incorrect data. When I called them and told them about it, they just corrected it in their records. When I asked if I needed a new registration, they said I didn't. I'd just get corrected slips the next time I renewed normally, which is what happened. A FOID and CCL aren't that same thing, of course, but if they work and your ego is okay, just make sure Firearm Services corrects their records, then wait for regular renewal. If it were me, I'd just ignore it and change when its time to renew. Knowing the state they will probably make you pay for the revision. And if an FFL chose to be a dbag about it, go to another one.
