spec5 Posted April 29, 2016 at 10:21 PM Share Posted April 29, 2016 at 10:21 PM I am very disappointed. Valinda should have been included in the Governor's proclamation. Good news anyway. Way to go Molly B.

BShawn Posted April 30, 2016 at 12:36 AM Share Posted April 30, 2016 at 12:36 AM This is very good news, especially for anyone who has/gets only IL. (although I've been covered for some time in TX under my PA LTCF) I hope one day all this mumbo jumo will not be needed though, once we get national reciprocity! Then I'll finally be able to see the few "sights" I've wanted to see in Commiefornia (IE Alcatraz)...!
BShawn Posted April 30, 2016 at 12:48 AM Share Posted April 30, 2016 at 12:48 AM Since I know many of us here, and even more not from the board, use sites like usacarry.com and handgunlaw.us - I have forwarded this information to them so that they can update their information to reflect this change! 1911 .45 Posted April 30, 2016 at 02:05 PM Share Posted April 30, 2016 at 02:05 PM Great job as always Molly. Just curious, it has always seemed odd that Florida will honor most permits from other states, but not from The Peoples Republic of Illinois. Do you know the reason why that is? However, we have a hurdle to jump with getting non-resident CCLs issued first. IMO, the best chance we have for reciprocity is to have court-ordered non-discriminatory issue to non-residents. I suspect they would rather do reciprocity than deal with that many applications from various states. It's really not that big of a leap from the non-resident car carry they already offer to full carry for non-residents temporarily in the state.
