TRJ Posted May 28, 2019 at 07:31 PM Share Posted May 28, 2019 at 07:31 PM I wonder if my rep would take an international collect call so I can remind her where I stand again?Curiosity got the best of me. No, they will not accept the charges. Bummer.

ILgunguy Posted May 28, 2019 at 08:39 PM Share Posted May 28, 2019 at 08:39 PM Watched the HB25 debate. Maybe our aide ought to use words like those in favor of the bill used when characterizing what SB1966 really means: "insulting," "offended," "misinformation," "distracting," "extremist," "how dare people not trust..." etc.

And yes, I do realize that anyone who hasn't traveled those 4 inches of birth canal is in no way shape or form a human being or a person of any kind. Not sure if thats normal or not. When SB1966 comes up I hope it is not restricted to short debate. SB1602 under discussion now
InterestedBystander Posted May 28, 2019 at 11:52 PM Share Posted May 28, 2019 at 11:52 PM Just read elsewhere on ILGunlobby that they may still try and run SB1966 tonight. It was suggested any Will county people might want to start giving Rep Walsh a call on SB1966 as he might vote against gun owners. Evil Porkchop Posted May 29, 2019 at 12:47 AM Share Posted May 29, 2019 at 12:47 AM Watching them debate the voting bill for those detained by not yet convicted of a crime, and they are concerned about constitutional rights. If 1966 comes up for a vote, somehow I doubt those same constitutional concerns will be brought up by the Democrats.

Arch1GLK Posted May 29, 2019 at 01:03 AM Share Posted May 29, 2019 at 01:03 AM After watching the session since 5:00 today, it once again reinforces my opinion that laws passing through this legislature only require pontificating and majority mind think. The voting bill has taken the cake.Hearing the arguments for it are outrages and when Willis speaks in favor for it only makes one sicker that she actually represents people with any brain cells. From jails to senior housing centers, we now have polling places to allow people who have no clue what a candidates positions are yet we have to educate them to vote.I digress, time to educate the felons to vote pro 2A.
