CCL Application

Hello everyone, I'm new here. After visiting as a guest for a while I final decided to sign up. I've done quite some research here before I decided to post. I haven't found exactly what I was looking for so here I am, and please excuse me if I'm posting in the wrong forum. I submitted my FOID address change and CCL application the same time 02/03/17. My FOID went to QC_VERIFIED on 03/08/17 and my CCL is still shown as "submitted". Will my address change on my FOID delay my CCL application? Also I submitted my fingerprints on 03/13/17 in hopes that it'll speed up my CCL application. I'm just trying to figure out if anyone has had a similar situation and what their outcome was with address change while applying for CCL and submitting prints 38 days later. I appreciate any help and thank you for your time!

Welcome to the group!

My situation is not totally similar to yours. My FOID and CCL were stolen. It took 49 days for the FOID to go active and it arrived at my door 7 days later. I am still waiting for the CCL at 60 days. No address change... Just replacement cards because they were stolen.

My last FOID renewal took less than a month. My original CCL took just a bit less than 60 days during the rush of initial applications. Things seem to be taking extra long right now. Sooooo... Hang in there. It probably isn't some glitch specific to you.

Thank you for the fast reply. Sorry to hear that happened, hope it didn't cause you too much trouble. When you did your initial CCL application did you submit prints?

I submitted an address change about a week before my CCL on 2/19 application, just because I read where a couple of people were saying make sure your DL, & Foid address all match so it doesn't cause any extra delays. I have received my updated Foid and it hasn't caused me any issues, my CCL went QC_verfied on 3/15.

My wife did her application Jan 2017 and she added her TCN# for her live scan prints from the school works at and they just sent her letter telling her its the wrong TCN. I told her they wouldn't except it.

That's strange. After I submitted my prints I waited a couple days then I followed up with a phone call to make sure they got the prints and they said they got them and they were attached to my application and my application is now a 90 day application. Still currently under QC_VERIFIED ‍♂️

I submitted mine at the same time and from what I could tell, they didn't start my CCL application until my foid went active because my CCL stayed "submitted" until my foid went active. Once my foid went active the next day my CCL went to "QC_VERIFIED"

Really hoping it comes in before 4/07/17 I'm going on a little road trip with my buddies down to South Carolina and I don't wanna be the only one not carrying

Submitted both FOID address change and CCL - 2/2/17 w/prints

Noticed wrong county on address(my town straddles two counties) changed county 2/3/17

Both the FOID and CCL section were sitting at submitted with the inspect trick since 2/3/17. So last night at 11pm I decided to email ISP with my application info and to make sure the county change went through. I got a reply this morning at 9:30am confirming the address change and CCL request and told the CCL would be complete 90 days from 2/2/17. I then log into the site and notice the FOID section is now approved.

Hmm we're in a very similar situation, keep me updated on your status with the CCL. Mine is still sitting under qc_verified since 3/16/17

I think you're fine just moving along in the system. FOID approved 3/15, FOID active 3/15, CCL QC verified 3/16. I had no movement on either for 47 days, it wasn't until my email inquiry that my FOID went from approved to active. I'd expect my CCL to hit QC verified soon. I really think that email nudge gets eyes on the application and moves people along. It can't be a coincidence that FOID was sitting at submitted for 47 days then the day after my email it goes approved and active.

  • 2 weeks later...

CCL went approved this morning 3/31/17 with no further changes, really hoping Monday it will go active

CCL went active 04/01/17 should be in my mail box any day now, so I would definitely say even submitting fingerprints a month after the application definitely sped up the process a good sum. Wally walk coming soon
