imaduber Posted May 20, 2019 at 04:46 PM Share Posted May 20, 2019 at 04:46 PM I am an officer in the Army. While I was deployed supporting Operation Inherent Resolve, my FOID expired. Thus, my CCL expired as well. I appealed the CCL but it HAS BEEN OVER 7 MONTHS and it is still "Under Appeal!!!!!!!!!!!!" Can anyone help because this is ridiculous. lockman Posted May 20, 2019 at 04:59 PM Share Posted May 20, 2019 at 04:59 PM I hope you arranged safe storage for your firearms as many jurisdictions will come to get them! View a few of the similar threads and you will get som information. If you already have and still can't get anywhere send an IM to Molly with specific info, name Foid # etc. and she may be able to get you on the right path. Flynn Posted May 21, 2019 at 05:51 AM Share Posted May 21, 2019 at 05:51 AM I hope you arranged safe storage for your firearms as many jurisdictions will come to get them! ^ ^ ^ ^ This, makes sure all your firearms and ammo are in the hands of someone with a valid FOID before the po-po come knocking as some police departments are now actively pursuing expired/revoked followups. With that said, thank you for your service and it irks me to no end that deployed military personal have to return to *#%@& like this, heck for that matter no one should have to deal with this, but especially not people who are serving the nation overseas! Lou Posted May 21, 2019 at 01:45 PM Share Posted May 21, 2019 at 01:45 PM This is an excellent example of how this state treats those who protect our freedoms. Id love to see a rep or senator get involved. This is. Great case for the media if you can find a 2A friendly journalist.
