  1. Will this affect the FOID? Republicans say FOID should be void if illegal immigrants can possess guns | Illinois | thecentersquare.com
  2. The law designates establishments that serve alcohol. Standalone liquor stores do not serve alcohol, so do not need to be posted. Still, many do post at their option and you are prohibited from entering if carrying. The name of the business does not matter. A restaurant may be named as a tavern, pub, inn, but not sell enough alcohol by the drink to require posting. As others have noted, it is the business' responsibility to post. See link at the bottom for the whole law. "(9) Any building, real property, and parking area under the control of an establishment that serves alcohol on its premises, if more than 50% of the establishment's gross receipts within the prior 3 months is from the sale of alcohol. The owner of an establishment who knowingly fails to prohibit concealed firearms on its premises as provided in this paragraph or who knowingly makes a false statement or record to avoid the prohibition on concealed firearms under this paragraph is subject to the penalty under subsection (c-5) of Section 10-1 of the Liquor Control Act of 1934." "(d) Signs stating that the carrying of firearms is prohibited shall be clearly and conspicuously posted at the entrance of a building, premises, or real property specified in this Section as a prohibited area, unless the building or premises is a private residence. Signs shall be of a uniform design as established by the Department and shall be 4 inches by 6 inches in size. The Department shall adopt rules for standardized signs to be used under this subsection." IL Firearm Applicant Portal (ispfsb.com)
  3. Not any more for Gary. Holcomb signs bill killing Gary's gunmaker lawsuit, but two others hang in the balance • Indiana Capital Chronicle
  4. Product Dimensions19.68"D x 20.47"W x 35.23"H. It is too big to hide under a seat. It would have to go in the trunk, or under the spare tire cover in an SUV. It has no cable to decrease the chance of the box being stolen. I know that with the right tool the cable on other boxes can be cut.
  5. I do not understand your reason for mocking German's. The majority of us here speak English.
  6. CRIMINAL OFFENSES (720 ILCS 5/) Criminal Code of 2012. (720 ILCS 5/Art. 24 heading) ARTICLE 24. DEADLY WEAPONS (720 ILCS 5/24-1) (from Ch. 38, par. 24-1) Sec. 24-1. Unlawful use of weapons. (a) A person commits the offense of unlawful use of weapons when he knowingly: (1) Sells, manufactures, purchases, possesses or carries any bludgeon, black-jack, slung-shot, sand-club, sand-bag, metal knuckles or other knuckle weapon regardless of its composition, throwing star, or any knife, commonly referred to as a switchblade knife, which has a blade that opens automatically by hand pressure applied to a button, spring or other device in the handle of the knife, or a ballistic knife, which is a device that propels a knifelike blade as a projectile by means of a coil spring, elastic material or compressed gas; I added the bold.
  7. Steel melts at around 2600 deg F. depending on type. At 4200 the car and any other steel in it would melt. Metal Melting Temperatures of Common Engineering Materials (engineersedge.com)
  8. I do not know where you live. I moved back to Indiana about 2 years ago. My town is always washing blood off the streets. It is done in the early morning, so perhaps you thought that your streets were wet because of rain. I sometimes get up extra early so that I can collect a bucket of blood to fertilize my roses. They looked great last year.😉
  9. I agree with the court's logic. Of course, it just applies to Ohio. The article says that he fired a warning shot at the aggressor. So, if he had claimed that he was trying hit the person, the state of Ohio might not have charged him? What is the point of a warning shot to frighten, if a gun is already pointed at you? The next shot will probably from the other person with intent to kill or injure. What is the difference between a warning shot at and poor marksmanship?
  10. Why not just sign in on the ISP with your Mac, start your application and see what happens?
  11. No expiration dates posted on the card. The CCL expiration date in posted in the ISP site. I realize that you know this, but some will think otherwise.
  12. Could it be pleaded down to vandalism? Was it an emotional act of frustration? Did he stop hitting the case because his anger was abated or that he realized he could not break the glass to get to its contents?
  13. Am I missing something? Posters are referring to a video, but I do not see any links.
